SupportUtils ("we", "our", "us") operates the SupportUtils Chrome extension and web application at supportutils.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is protected.
What we collect
- Account information: Your Google account email address and display name, obtained via Google OAuth when you sign in.
- Organization data: Your organization name and support email address, which you provide during setup.
- Thread states: Gmail thread IDs, along with the status label and assignee you set for each thread. We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your emails.
- Usage data: Basic server logs (request timestamps, error rates). No analytics tracking or behavioural profiling.
What we do not collect
- Email content, subject lines, or attachments
- Contacts or address book data
- Browsing history outside of Gmail
- Payment card details (handled directly by Stripe)
How we use your data
Data is used solely to provide the SupportUtils service: syncing thread assignment and status across your team in real time. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data storage
Data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite at the edge) and processed by Cloudflare Workers. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS.
Data retention
Thread state data is retained while your organization has an active account. You can request deletion of your organization's data at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Third-party services
- Google OAuth: Used for sign-in. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Stripe: Used for payment processing. We do not store card details. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: Infrastructure provider. Governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, contact us at the email below.
