Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of SupportUtils, operated by Tharaka Wijekoon ("we", "our", "us"). By installing the extension or using the web application you agree to these terms.
Service description
SupportUtils is a Chrome extension and web application that adds support ticket tracking functionality to Gmail. It does not read or transmit the content of your emails.
Accounts and access
- You must sign in with a valid Google account to use SupportUtils.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with others outside your organization.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Billing and subscriptions
- SupportUtils is billed per seat (per active team member) on a monthly or annual basis.
- A 14-day free trial is available for new organizations. No credit card is required to start the trial.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from the billing dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use SupportUtils in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the service.
- Use automated means to access the API beyond normal extension operation.
- Resell or sublicense access to SupportUtils.
Data and privacy
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you input into SupportUtils. We do not sell your data.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via email if changes are material. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Termination
You may stop using SupportUtils at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. On termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SupportUtils is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding any claim.
